Driftwood Court

This 1980’s lake house was in need of a modern kitchen design to fit the client’s lifestyle. The existing galley design was too wide for efficient cooking and lacked storage space. By taking down an unused fireplace flue, we were able to push the kitchen wall back and create a galley design utilizing an island for additional seating. An outdated eat-in nook was turned into additional kitchen storage with a large pantry and laundry room on the opposite side. The exterior window was enlarged to bring in more natural light.

Blending walnut and high gloss paint cabinets, dramatic tile, and pendant lights created a modern, yet warm kitchen better suited to the client’s personality.
