24 Plates

Originally two separate buildings with a 30" difference in floor elevation, 24 plates is an urban eatery with a modern aesthetic. By creating a large opening in the two walls and selecting materials with the modest budget in mind, the final design is a connected space with different dining and bar experiences the client desired. The color scheme, materials, and patio landscaping were inspired by the structure's history as a flower shop. Works by local artists were used to tie the space to the community.
