Tamworth Rd
A remodeled 1961 mid-century modern kitchen. The original layout included a kitchen, laundry room, and breakfast nook. The rooms were small, dark, and non-functional. Moving the laundry room to a more central location within the house opened the kitchen to the remainder of the home. New energy-efficient wood windows and a door were installed, adding warmth and light to the space as well as direct access to the backyard. The kitchen is designed with off-the-shelf cabinets to provide ample storage and detail to give the appearance of custom cabinets. A crisp white quartz countertop was selected for its low environmental impact and high durability. The green wall reflects the couple's bold personalities.
